Zach's quilt

This is a quilt I made for my son. I finished it on Thanksgiving day 2011. It was a block of the month from the local quilt shop. I added the red myself. It was supposed to be just black and white. I added the red to give it some pop. The red has Japanese lettering on it which Zach loves all things Japanese. I also added some Japanese fabrics to the black and white connecting blocks.

    Black and white quilts always look flat and boring to me, but those grays and then that bright red really make this one pop! Good job on a lovely design.
